Play Ball! Sacramento 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, July 10, at Sacramento History Museum. The National Pastime Exhibit explores Sacramento’s 175-year baseball history, from Gold Rush-era teams to today’s games at Sutter Health Park. You Good? Let’s Talk About It 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at The Legacy Center. This youth and family workshop offers honest conversations and practical tools around mental health, stress, relationships, identity and emotional well-being. The event is designed for youth ages 13-18 and the adults who support them. Free; registration required.
Let’s Read Oak Park 10-11 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at Underground Books. Children’s author Angel Boone will read “Making Friends in Preschool,” followed by hands-on activities for young readers. Every child ages 5-12 will receive a free book to take home. Tickets are free.

Hella Plants Market
Hella Plants Market Sacramento 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at Scottish Rite Masonic Center. Plant lovers can shop rare and common plants, connect with local businesses and enjoy workshops, food, art, music and community vibes. VIP guests receive early access at 11 a.m., with general admission beginning at noon, and a terrarium workshop starting at 1 p.m. Tickets required; kids get in free.
Summer Vibes Poetry, Music, and Comedy 7-9 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at The Lock & Key. The evening features Sacramento performers sharing poetry, live music and stand-up comedy, including Camille Janae, Granny Mack, Dru Burks, BeeReal, Kianna Marie and MC Terry Moore. Tickets are $10.
