Tom Selleck stepped out looking stressed during a rare outing.

In pictures exclusively obtained by Closer, the former Blue Bloods star, 81, was photographed sitting behind the wheel of his white truck with his face buried in his hands before clasping them together near his mouth and closing his eyes. He later stared ahead with a weary expression.

Selleck was photographed near his home in Thousand Oaks, California. According to a source, the Magnum, P.I. alum stopped at a local McDonald’s drive-thru in late June, where he ordered a burger, fries and a Coke before eating the meal in a nearby parking lot and heading home.

As Closer previously reported, Selleck has started taking it easy as of late, and it’s been a big relief to his wife, Jillie Mack.

“Tom’s finally taking his foot off the gas, and it’s a huge comfort to everyone who cares about him,” a source told Closer in February. “For years, he was go-go-go around the ranch, tearing around on his ATV, and taking on projects like he was still in his 40s, but these days, he’s embracing a much more low-key routine.”

The source also explained that Mack, 68, played a huge role in getting the Three Men and a Baby actor to start “listening to his body and slowing down.”

“She’s been urging him for years to slow down and be more mindful,” the source said.
