A free summer concert series will bring 108 performances to 27 parks in Los Angeles County.
Sounds of LA County will feature concerts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings that highlight local independent musicians. Latin, R&B, hip-hop, jazz, reggae, country, Americana, Indigenous music and more will be showcased in the communities of La Puente, Sylmar, Carson, Azusa, West Covina, Palmdale, Lancaster and other areas.
Concert times are 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The series is being produced by NextFest LA, an independent music festival organization that focuses on promoting local artists.
The series will continue through Aug. 29.
