The annual tradition — lasting nearly 40 years — combining local small businesses, the arts community and the iconic boardwalk continues as the Arts and Crafts Festival returns on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
More than 200 vendors have registered to offer a range of goods — jewelry, clothing, home decor, food and more. Countless local businesses and organization will be represented, lining the boardwalk from Long Beach Boulevard to Edwards Boulevard.
Thousands of visitors are expected, based on previous years’ turnouts, to enjoy the creative works and merchandise from local businesses. This year’s event is sponsored by Episcopal Health Services.
Last month, the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce vendor fair took over the boardwalk, offering attendees the chance to support local businesses. Next month, the Long Beach Historical Society will present their own two-day arts and crafts fair along the boardwalk, benefiting the volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to preserving and showcasing Long Beach history.
