3.9-magnitude earthquake shakes Mendocino County, USGS says
A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck in Mendocino County on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The quake hit at 3:05 p.m. about 7 miles north-northeast of Covelo. It had a depth of 6.8 miles.Light shaking was reported in the area, according to a USGS map.
