The closures will begin Monday, July and go through Friday, July 17, as construction will take place on a stretch of Highway 50 from 26th Street to the Interstate 5 interchange in downtown Sacramento. Crews will work on joint seals, final striping, electrical, drainage and landscape work along the highway. According to Caltrans, here are the lanes that will be closed: Monday, July 13, at 8 p.m. through Wednesday, July 15, at 5 a.m.; Westbound U.S. 50 lanes 5 and 6 and the auxiliary lane will be closedThursday, July 16 at 8 p.m. through Friday, July 17 at 5 a.m.; Westbound U.S. 50 lanes 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be closed.
