The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert on Friday night about a 3-year-old who was last seen in Kern County.
The alert, issued on behalf of the California City Police Department, said Emaria Peel and a 31-year-old woman named Charnay Mclin were last seen near Redwood Boulevard and 83rd Street in California City just before 7:20 p.m. Friday. It’s unclear what, if any, the relationship is between the child and Mclin.

Officials say Mclin is believed to be driving a 2021 gold Kia Sorento with the license plate 36095DV.
If you see either of them, you are asked to call 911.
The alert was sent to people in Kern, Riverside and Los Angeles counties.
