Vegetation fire in Nevada County prompts evacuation warning

An evacuation warning has been issued for the area near a vegetation fire burning in Nevada County on Saturday. The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office said the fire is in the area of Mystic Court and White Canoe Lane. Under an evacuation warning, you are not required to leave your home, but should be prepared to do so. The warning was issued for zone NCO-E076, which is near the Rough and Ready Highway between Bonanza Way and Kenny Ranch Trails.
