There was no sophomore slump for CJ Walters, who started 10 of the 17 matches she played in last fall for the Cal State Bakersfield women’s soccer team.
Walter logged just under 500 minutes, producing one goal, while landing 10 shot attempts on the pitch for Bakersfield.
In two seasons in the Central Valley, Walters has appeared in 36 games, logging 1,002 minutes, with two goals and an assist.
The most prolific scorer in Rancho San Juan history, Walters was named the Mission Division Offensive Player of the Year in soccer, and earned all-league honors in volleyball during her senior season.
Walters led the Trailblazers to league soccer titles in the Santa Lucia Division (2022) and the Mission Division (2023) during her sophomore and junior seasons.
