A man was shot midday Sunday in a residential neighborhood of North San Jose, police said.
Officers responded shortly before noon to the 2400 block of Amaryl Drive where they located a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to the San Jose Police Department.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police expected to clear the shooting scene by late afternoon, but said the investigation remains ongoing.
