Myers’ tribute beautifully captured Kelly Davis’ remarkable life – San Diego Union-Tribune

Re “Kelly Davis — the conscience of San Diego — is gone at 53” (July 2): The tribute to U-T journalist Kelly Davis by former sheriff’s Commander Dave Myers was an eloquent testimony to a remarkable life.

It was one of the most moving eulogies we have read. It beautifully conveyed how Kelly Davis’ courageous journalism impacted the justice system of San Diego and Myers himself.
