Wanted Charlotte County woman arrested in California on charges of sexual activity with a minor

A Charlotte County woman who was featured on the SWFL Crime Stoppers 10 Most Wanted list has been caught by authorities in California.

Cameron Shirley, 28, was wanted by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office on charges related to engaging in unlawful sexual activity with a minor.

According to SWFL Crime Stoppers, Shirley was employed at a Charlotte County juvenile halfway house and faced accusations of engaging in inappropriate and illegal sexual activities with a boy at the facility.

Crime Stoppers said an anonymous tip to them led to her arrest.
