A pedestrian was killed after being struck by three drivers, none of whom stopped, near a 710 Freeway off-ramp in Long Beach late Monday night.
Officers were called to the area of Ocean Boulevard and Golden Shore at about 11:45 p.m. regarding an injury hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found the victim, described only as an adult male, lying in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Long Beach Fire Department personnel.

Investigators believe the man was outside a crosswalk when he was first struck by a black vehicle traveling eastbound on Ocean Boulevard, just west of Golden Shore. The driver did not stop and continued eastbound.
“The pedestrian was struck again by a white truck and a third time by a red sedan,” police said. “Neither vehicle stayed at the scene.”
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification by the Los Angeles County Department of the Medical Examiner.
