Two people suffered injuries after a car crashed into a store on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood Tuesday afternoon, the LA County Sheriff’s Department said.

The crash happened at 12:46 p.m. as the LA County Fire Department received a call about the crash.

When responding officers arrived at the crash site at the intersection of Melrose Avenue and San Vincente Boulevard, they found a blue truck plowed into a newly renovated store.

It was not immediately clear whether the shop was occupied at the time of the collision.

Steps away from the truck, a white Tesla was parked in the middle of Melrose Avenue. The EV appeared to have been involved in the crash, with its driver’s side doors smashed in.

Fire officials said two people were taken to a hospital, but their conditions were not immediately clear.
