OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – The Oakland County Clerk and Register of Deeds offices are closing early on Thursday due to the hazardous air quality conditions.

The offices at 1200 N. Telegraph in Pontiac and 1151 Crooks in Troy closed around 3:30 p.m. on July 16 after smoke from the Canadian wildfires blanketed Metro Detroit, causing hazardous air quality conditions.
