I am proud to call Coronado home—a community where love of country is not just spoken, but beautifully displayed.

From Memorial Day through Veterans Day, our streets come alive with American flags and colorful patriotic decorations that remind us of the freedoms we cherish and the sacrifices made to protect them.

Our annual Fourth of July celebration is a shining example of what makes Coronado so special. From the early morning runs to the spectacular evening fireworks, neighbors and visitors of every age come together in a joyful celebration of America. Throughout the day, we honor the men and women who have served in our armed forces with the gratitude and respect they so richly deserve.

A special thank-you goes to the members of our Coronado Police and Fire Departments, whose dedication and professionalism keep our community safe while we celebrate.

Thank you, Coronado, for your enduring spirit of patriotism. And thank you, America, for the freedoms that unite us all.
