(KRON) — The Oakland Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in a November 2025 homicide. Terrill Millhouse was shot and killed on Nov. 26, 2025, in his neighborhood on the 1700 block of 28th Avenue.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area and found Millhouse on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. Officers provided first aid until paramedics arrived.

Millhouse was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

According to police, Millhoue was walking in the neighborhood when an unknown suspect approached him. The OPD Homicide Section has released a video of the suspected shooter prior to the incident. (Watch in the player above)

In the footage, Millhouse can be seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, crossing paths with the suspect before the shooting. OPD said it’s sharing the video in the hopes of locating the person responsible for Millhouse’s death.
