Wyclef Jean performance at California State Fair Saturday canceled
It’s the first day of the California State Fair, and, uh, we were there as people started to line up today. Families from across our region coming to enjoy the rides, the games, and the food. Let’s go to Case Area 3’s Andrea Flores, who’s live at Cal Expo with what people can expect and really for the first day, I mean, it’s, it’s warm, but it’s not brutally hot. You know, you’re right, Golson Lisa, it’s warm, but there’s *** nice little breeze here, of course. Some years we’ve had it where it’s triple digit heat. Other years like today we’re experiencing pretty nice temperatures outside, so overall pretty comfortable. We’re starting to see people trickle in and out of here, of course *** lot of people getting off work, picking up the kids, making their way out here, but we are in the Midway area. That’s where we have some of the game, some of the. You can see one of the rides here behind me. This is Airstrike, and this is one of the opportunities that you have to actually win *** prize behind us here you see another kind of game experience ride here where you can walk through all the mazes. That’s pretty fun. But Goldston, I know you specifically wanted me to try and win you something here at the Midway. We are here at the pyramid. This is game number 3. Albert’s been helping us out here and he’s been showing us that we can do these ball tosses here. We have *** beautiful family here behind us competing and Goldstein, I know you said you wanted me to try and win you one of these prizes, so I’m going to see. Can I sneak and get *** ball right now? OK, let me go ahead and give it *** try. OK, actually I need 2 for my granddaughters, 2 prizes. OK, 2, no pressure, no pressure. 3. OK, 3. OK, I’m gonna keep trying. All right, all right, well, I’m trying, but here’s one of the good things. You come to this pyramid, game 3, yeah, just give him, he’s like, get out of here, please. Um, no, but one of the great things if you come to visit this one in particular, you’re always going to be *** winner if you buy 3 balls, 10 bucks, that gives you, uh, the smallest stuffed animal here, so. If you even come here, you buy *** couple of balls, you try, you don’t win, you can still walk away with *** stuffed animals, so everyone’s *** winner. I’m going to try and win some, Folston. I don’t know how I’m going to do, but if I come back to the station with some stuffed animals, I’ll bring them right back. I don’t want to go see my, I’ve got 3 granddaughters. One’s an infant, but if the 2, they’re going to be asking how they’re going to split one still, but still, you got to go for 3. I only. I only have 2 hands to throw so many.

Cal Expo cited “unforeseen circumstance” as the reason for Wyclef Jean’s canceled performance. Refunds will automatically be processed today, Cal Expo said.
