The Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner is looking to identify and locate the family of a man involved in a deadly crash in Hollister in 1986.
Authorities said the crash occurred near Shore Road just west of Lovers Lane in Hollister. The man was in a Chevy Corvair van with two other passengers when the van was struck by a Cadillac El Dorado.
The Office of the Medical Examiner says the man was taken to Hazel Hawkins Hospital and then Stanford Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. They added one of the passengers stated his name was Louis Sanchez, but this could not be confirmed.
Authorities said the man was white or Latino, was between 20 and 40 years old, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 165 pounds. He had dark brown hair, brown eyes and natural teeth in good repair, as well as a brown mustache and no tattoos.
