On Wednesday at 12:11 p.m. the National Weather Service released a beach hazards statement valid from Thursday 7 a.m. until Friday Nov. 7, at 1 p.m. for Orange County Coast.
“An incoming west-northwest swell with a period of 14 to 15 seconds will generate surf of 4 to 6 feet. Elevated surf in conjunction with the King Tides may result in minor tidal overflow,” can be anticipated according to the NWS San Diego CA. “High tide at Newport Bay Entrance on Thursday will be 7.03ft at 8:37am. High tide Friday will be 6.91ft at 9:18am.”
“Strong rip currents and minor tidal overflow during King Tides,” according to the NWS. “Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.”
