A trio of trespassers broke into a San Fernando Valley home overnight while a resident was inside, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The break-in was reported just after 1 a.m. Sunday at a home on the 4500 block of Dempsey Avenue. There, three masked individuals dressed in all black made entry into the home.
At least one resident was inside the house at the time of the break-in, police said. It’s unclear if that resident confronted the culprits.
Investigators are working to determine if anything was taken from the home. The individuals who broke in remain outstanding. A detailed description of them was not immediately available.
