A police investigation is underway in Southfield on a shooting reported just after 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to the Southfield Police Department, the shooting reportedly happened near Eight Mile and Beech roads. No injuries were reported.
A small section of Eight Mile Road was shut down temporarily while police officers processed the scene.
No suspects are in custody.
