With a Michelin star already under its belt, Camphor is now home to one of the best burgers in the world

It’s official. Camphor Los Angeles is the fifteenth best burger in the world.

Each year, restaurants around the world wait in anticipation for the release of the World’s 101 Best Burger list, which seeks to give burgers the culinary acclaim they deserve. Created by the London-based Upper Cut Media House, this burger list is a spin-off of its famous World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants list.

The organization tests over 1,500 burgers worldwide, subjecting them to an intensive review process that considers both the quality of the dish itself and the restaurant’s atmosphere and customer experience to lead diners in the right direction.

This year, Los Angeles is home to six of the world’s best burgers, among them Camphor, the quaint French bistro located in the heart of Downtown L.A.’s Art District. Known for its innovative yet classically French cuisine spearheaded by Executive Chef Max Boonthanakit, Camphor has become an L.A. staple.

Join other diners for Le Burger & Burgundy on Wednesday, July 22 at 5 pm, the special dining event to celebrate Camphor’s recognition among the world’s best.

The set menu will include the award-winning Le Burger, pomme frites and a house salad for $38. Guests are encouraged to pair this meal with a glass of burgundy wine from Camphor’s impressive menu of French wines, or with a cherry & chocolate milkshake.
