FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A Fresno man was arrested in Indiana after police tracked his vehicle using the Flock camera system in connection with the theft of a high-value cargo shipment.
Police in Greenfield, IN, were alerted to a wanted semi tractor-trailer around 6 a.m. on Saturday traveling westbound on Interstate 70 as it entered Hancock County.
They said the truck and trailer were involved in a cargo theft in Pennsylvania on June 25th.
Police tracked the truck the next day using a Flock camera system.
They conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 70 just west of Greenfield, and the driver was identified as 31-year-old Deepak Kumar of Fresno.
Kumar has been identified as an Indian man in the country illegally who was issued a California commercial driver’s license.

Police said Kumar is suspected of using fraudulent documents to obtain a load of nearly 40,000 pounds of tungsten oxide powder that was being shipped to Japan.
The cargo was valued at nearly $3 million and was being shipped to Mitsubishi Materials Corporation in Japan.
An arrest warrant issued by the state of Pennsylvania accused Kumar of theft by unlawful taking of movable property and criminal use of a communication facility.
He was arrested and later transferred to McFarland, California, where he remains in ICE custody.
The truck and trailer were impounded, and police said a search warrant confirmed the stolen cargo was in the trailer.
A representative of Mitsubishi Materials Corporation arrived in Greenfield on Sunday and took possession of the stolen cargo.
