FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The Fresno Chaffee Zoo announced on Thursday that its new siamang finally has a name.
Her name is Soleil, which means ‘sun’ or ‘sunlight.’
The zoo says she’s a little ball of sunshine, so it fits perfectly.

The zoo said that Safiya, a 16-year-old siamang, gave birth to Soleil on Thursday, June 11.
She is Safiya and Noah’s third daughter at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo.
