National Drive-Thru Day and 24/7 Day are both Friday, July 24, and to mark the occasions, several national chains are giving away food and beverages or offering discounts.
National Drive-Thru Day Freebies & Discounts
Jack in the Box, which has locations in Clovis, Dinuba, Fresno, Lemoore, Kerman, Madera, Sanger, Tulare and Visalia, is offering Jack Pack members a free Jr. Jumbo Jack or Jr. Chicken sandwich when members place an online or in-app order of $5 or more.
People visiting any Del Taco location can get $5 off any $20 drive-thru purchase from July 24-26 for an extended National Drive-Thru Day deal.
24/7 Day Deals
24/7 Day is not the same as National First Responders Day, which is recognized Oct. 28 every year. Instead, 24/7 Day is an effort put together by the NACS Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the National Association of Convenience Stores.
To redeem these deals, people may be asked to show their employee IDs. First responders often include law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, doctors, nurses, 911 operators and American Cross volunteers.
Rocket
The Rocket convenience stores at 18463 Rd. 23 in Madera and 6422 Betty Drive in Visalia are offering first responders a free large fountain soda.
BP
The BP store at 32603 Avenue 7 in Madera is offering all first responders a free large fountain drink.
Circle K
Circle K, which has locations in Visalia, Tulare, Fresno, Hanford and Selma, is offering first responders a free hot dog, cookie and medium fountain drink.
“Our first responders are the bedrock of our communities, working around the clock to ensure our safety and well-being,” Trey Powell, senior vice president of US Food & Retail at Circle K, said in a press release. “We are honored to partner with the NACS Foundation and support the American Red Cross to show our collective gratitude for their selfless dedication.”
