Friday, July 24
Forecast: High of 69; mostly sunny
5:30 p.m. Dinner in the Presidio
Don’t mess with the Presidio’s culinary scene, which is only getting hotter with each new restaurant addition. Before your outdoor movie night this evening, pick up a picnic-friendly pizza from Il Parco (opens in new tab) or snag a table at Dalida if you’re in the mood for a bougier sit-down meal.
7 p.m. Sundown Cinema (opens in new tab) at Presidio Civil War Parade Ground
The Standard’s free outdoor movie series is back, this time screening “Inside Out.” We’ll have exclusive merch, including blankets (you know those temps will drop), tote bags, a zine, and so much more. The screening starts at 8:30, but you’ll want to come early to snag a spot in the grass for prime viewing.

12 p.m. SF Art Book Fair (opens in new tab) at Minnesota Street Project
Book lovers and art aficionados, unite! Dozens of indie publishers are selling limited-edition art books, zines, and prints at this multiday expo. Starting at 12 p.m., authors, artists, and academics join for special talks and book signings.
2:30 p.m. Sip on a banana latte at Sōhn in the Dogpatch
After hours perusing and reading, it’s time to refuel. Stroll 0.3 miles over to the ultra trendy, Korean-inspired cafe and try its banana oat milk latte — a flavor that’s been popular across Asia for decades, but is now having a moment in the Bay Area. 3 p.m. Museum of Craft and Design free admission (opens in new tab)
Get a second dose of art just steps away at the Museum of Craft and Design. For just this weekend, entry to the museum’s exhibition Video Craft is free of charge. While you’re inside, experience how over a dozen artists incorporate the moving image into multimedia works.

5 p.m. Taco crawl in the Mission
We’re here to put the rumors that San Francisco has subpar tacos to rest. Not only are there eight spots in the city that recently gained a stamp of approval from a Mexico City-raised taco connoisseur, but most of them are clustered around Mission and 21st streets.

10 a.m. Watch marathoners (opens in new tab) along the Marina Green
Maybe one day that will be you breezing through the 26.2 mile-course. But for now, this Sunday morning calls for coffee and donuts. Swing by Dynamo near Crissy Field and cheer runners on from the sidelines.
11 a.m. Found in the Fog (opens in new tab) at Marina Middle School
A vintage market that doesn’t involve crossing the bridge to Marin or taking the ferry to Alameda? Count us in. Shop antique homewares, secondhand denim, and more at this monthly flea benefitting Marina Middle School.
1:10 p.m. ‘The Invite’ and ‘The Odyssey’ double feature (opens in new tab) at Marina Theater
Close out a Sunday in the Marina at the neighborhood’s charming theater with back-to-back screenings of the summer’s hottest films. Start with “The Invite” at 1:10, a shot-in-SF comedic drama from Olivia Wilde. Take a Souvla break or re-up on the popcorn before heading back in to catch “The Odyssey” at 4:40. After the screenings, dine and debate each film over drinks at Bar Darling.
