Northern California forecast: Warm, quiet weather stretches through the weekend
High temperatures in Northern California will trend a couple of degrees higher Friday, with plenty of sunshine and a light Delta Breeze.
Very little will change through the weekend and the first half of next week, with the Sierra remaining dry.
Hotter weather is expected to begin building by the middle to latter part of next week.

The Sierra will remain dry through the entire 7-day forecast, as monsoon moisture stays away and no mountain storm activity is expected.

By the middle to later part of next week, however, the heat is expected to begin building again, and the region will prepare for a return to hotter conditions.
