OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (WNEM) — President Donald Trump plans to rally in Michigan on Monday, just as early in-person voting kicks off for the primary election.
Voters will choose nominees for governor, an open U.S. Senate seat and more in what shapes up to be a high stakes election cycle.
The president is heading to General Motors in Milford on Monday, July 27 to discuss rebuilding the auto industry.
“President Trump travels to General Motors in Milford, Michigan on Monday, delivering on his promise to bring manufacturing back to America and rebuild the auto industry,” said Liz Huston, Regional Press Secretary. “The President pledged to put Michigan workers back to work, and he’s doing it. Under President Trump’s America First agenda, American automakers are investing, hiring, and expanding at a pace not seen in decades.”
Early voting starts Saturday, July 25 and runs through Aug. 2. Primary election day is Tuesday, Aug. 4.
