Two juveniles riding motorized bikes were injured, one critically, in a hit-and-run crash in North Long Beach Saturday, July 25, authorities said.
The collision occurred at the intersection of East Market Street and Elm Avenue just after 6:20 p.m., Long Beach police said.
The victims were taken to a hospital, police said. One was treated for a “moderate” injury while the other victim sustained critical injuries, but is expected to survive.
The suspect vehicle fled the scene before officers arrived, police said.
The circumstances leading up to the crash were not known.
