BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Library is wrapping up some of their summer programs as students get ready to head back to school.
There is just one more week to participate in the summer reading challenge, ending on July 31.
Reading 10 books or for 10 hours is all that’s needed to win a prize.
The library is also hosting the final “Books in Motion” performance of the season.
Ballet Folklorico Huaztelcalli will be performing “Coco” at the Beale Memorial Library on August 1 starting at noon.
