Tristen Scott Moore, 23, Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on SR-99 Near Famoso Road
Bakersfield, Calif. (July 27, 2026) — A 23-year-old Bakersfield man died early Monday morning in a crash with a semi-truck on Highway 99 north of Famoso Road in Bakersfield.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol it happened on SR-99 around 12:37 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026 between a white sedan and the semi-truck.
The Kern County Coroner’s Office has since identified the victim as 23-year-old Tristen Scott Moore of Bakersfield.
The young man was driving the sedan that collided with the big rig due to unknown circumstances. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
