PHOTOS: Hundreds of thousands attend San Diego Comic-Con 2026

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — From Mattel, Hasbro, Nickelodeon, Paramount+, Marvel, DC, LEGO and Star Wars to UCC Comic-Con exclusives and mystery blind-bag Funko Pops, San Diego Comic-Con 2026 was packed with interactive booths and exclusives as hundreds of thousands of people were inside and outside of the convention center all weekend long.

While fans without a badge were waiting in lines to grab free merch, treats and food from studios outside the convention center in downtown San Diego, fans inside were doing much of the same thing.

Many of the lines capped early or gave out timed tickets for some of the most popular booths as fans waited their turn to take part in the interactive activities and giveaways.

The “Avengers: Doomsday” booth was packed and featured costumes for fans to get excited about.

There was no shortage of Marvel offerings at the convention, with two Marvel booths, the AvengerZ Gift Shop, a Marvel’s Wolverine photo op, LEGO Marvel sets at the LEGO Group booth, SDCC exclusives at the Hasbro booth, plus the 2026 Topps Mint Marvel collection at the Topps booth.

Marvel fans could also get photo ops outside at the Marvel’s Wolverine activation that gave fans a themed Madripoor Sunrise Slushie and Marvel’s Wolverine claws.

LEGO fans were able to take part in the LEGO Pokémon Lab and take photos at the Star Wars themed Destination: Mos Eisley Cantina. You can shop for San Diego Comic-Con LEGO merch online here.

Pluto TV debuted at Comic-Con with a futuristic video store where fans were able to walk through immersive sci-fi, supernatural and anime-themed infinity rooms, before leaving with an exclusive poster.

The Press Play Arcade by Paramount+ interactive gaming experience let fans compete in games for branded prizes inspired by “Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender,” “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” “Among Us” and “South Park.”

Nickelodeon‘s FUN-ERGY FACTORY featured interactive challenges, immersive moments and photo ops with favorites like “SpongeBob,” “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”

Outside the convention center, the Paramount+ Lodge once again took over Happy Does Bar in downtown San Diego, while Nickelodeon held the Fun Flows Here activation where kids could create their own slime, explore hands-on activities and get slimed in Nickelodeon’s slime booth.

“Star Wars” fans at San Diego Comic-Con got to meet the Mandalorian and Grogu and Friends and check out costumes and movie props at the extensive Star Wars booth, along with merchandise, collectibles, apparel and more, following the May theatrical release of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.”

The Lucasfilm Pavilion on the convention floor had the Anzellan starship from the feature film, including all four Anzellan droidsmiths responsible for the upkeep on the tiny transport.

The Rotta the Hutt maquette was on display next to a gallery of concept art, courtesy of Abrams, that is available for pre-order.

Lucky fans walking by the booth were also able to grab a free Mandalorian & LEGO themed poster.

American Dad reveals season 21 plans at Comic-Con

Attendees were seen lining up and getting timed tickets for Comic-Con exclusives like the blind-box glitter dumpling at booths like UCC, the interactive Nickelodeon, Paramount+ Splatoon Raiders Nintendo Switch 2 and mystery blind-box Funko Pop booths, and taking photo ops with He-Man and Skeletor at the Masters of the Universe booth where fans could also check out displays inside.

By Sunday afternoon, many of the booths and free off-site outdoor activations had run out of merch after several days of crowds.

While many of the larger booths were highlighted, the amount of booths and exhibitors was extensive, with no shortage of things to check out as fans.
