LONG BEACH, Miss. (WJTV) – A man has been sentenced for posessing child sexual assault material (CSAM).

According to court documents, Robert Stephan Wilson, Jr., 50, of Long Beach, was found in possession of thousands of images of child sexual abuse material stored on his electronic devices.

Wilson was sentenced to 40 years, with 18 years to serve day-for-day without the possibility of parole in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC). He must also serve five years on probation.

Additionally, Wilson was ordered to pay $1,000 to the Victims of Human Trafficking and Commercial Sexual Exploitation Fund and $1,000 to the Mississippi Children’s Trust Fund.

Upon release, Wilson must also register as a sex offender.
