It’s a banner year for fans of Zendaya’s high-fashion, themed red carpet looks. The actress wrapped up an The Odyssey press tour worthy of a Greek goddess just a few weeks ago and now she’s back with wall-crawler energy for the Los Angeles premiere of her latest Marvel film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Zendaya, who has now played the superhero’s love interest MJ in four films, once again showed her red carpet aplomb in an Ashi Studio gown that featured insect-like antennae flourishes. The gown, made from black satin, featured a strapless, structured corset bodice with a plunging V-neck that swept up into the eye-catching accents in place of straps. The dress, from the house’s ‘27 fall/winter couture collection, then billowed out into a buoyant pleated skirt and voluminous train. She finished things off with sheer black hosiery and pumps.

To accent the dress, Zendaya wore her hair slicked back, with tendrils of kiss curls sweeping over her forehead and brought sparkle to the ensemble with a pair of Boucheron pendant earrings with sprays of pave diamonds, and onyx and black lacquer accents.
Not only does Spider-Man mark Zendaya’s second blockbuster premiere of the summer, it’s also the second in as many months where the star appears with husband Tom Holland. Holland, who plays the titular web-slinger, also co-starred in The Odyssey as Odysseus’s son Telemachus.

The couple revealed their engagement last year, and after several months of speculation, Holland seemingly confirmed that the wedding had already taken place as of June this year. So far, no additional details about their nuptials have been revealed.
