Los Angeles firefighters rescued a dog Tuesday who fell into a hole in a Los Feliz neighborhood.

The hole, possibly used for some type of pipe, was in front of an apartment complex in the 1800 block of Winona Boulevard. It was estimated at about 7 feet in depth and 10 inches wide.

Members of the specialized LAFD Urban Search and Rescue Team and animal rescue personnel were at the scene.

The small dog, possibly a Pomeranian, was lifted out of the hole and appeared to be in good shape.
