FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A woman was trapped in her truck after she crashed into a power pole Tuesday morning in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP says two trucks collided in the intersection of Central and Dewolf avenues around 6:30 a.m.
The crash knocked a power pole onto the woman’s truck, trapping her. Pacific Gas and Electric arrived and deenergized the power line so the woman could be taken out of the truck.
The woman was treated at the scene, and it’s unknown if she was taken to the hospital. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
PG&E reported that around 796 customers are without power in the area.
