2nd suspect arrested in Old Sacramento stabbings
SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A second person has been arrested after five men were stabbed in Old Sacramento this weekend.
The Sacramento Police Department announced Tuesday that 19-year-old Robert Dennis Richwine of Rancho Cordova was arrested on charges related to the stabbing. He is booked into Sacramento County Main Jail.

Officers responded to Front Street and K Street for reports of an assault with a weapon on Saturday after 3 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found three men with at least one stab wound and they were taken to the hospital. Two more men were found at a hospital with stab wounds who police said were related to the incident.
Police said all five men were in stable condition. Avontae Brown, one of the five men stabbed, told KCRA 3 his recovery is progressing.
“I’m recovering pretty well. I’m feeling okay. Just a little bit of pain I’ve been getting like medicine for and it’s been helping,” he said.
Police arrested 18-year-old Ezekiel Griffis, of Sacramento, in relation to the stabbings and booked him into jail.
Griffis and Richwine were two of the three people of interest that were initially detained.
Richwine is expected to appear in court on July 30, according to jail records.
