EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — The Los Angeles Unified School District will hold three virtual parent meetings to discuss school safety plans and air quality concerns following the Boyle Heights warehouse fire.

The fire broke out June 17 at Lineage warehouse at 1400 S. Los Palos St., sending thick smoke over the area and prompting local emergency declarations by city, county and state officials. The fire took more than a week to fully extinguish.

Residents say they are still dealing with pests and odor emanating from the warehouse as rotting food sit spoiling.

The cause remains under investigation.

The virtual meeting will take place at 6 p.m. on the following days:

Wednesday, July 29, 2026
Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026
Monday, Aug. 10, 2026
