Los Angeles police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a man seriously injured in Silver Lake, authorities said Wednesday.
The crash occurred shortly after 11 p.m. on July 13, when a white sedan was traveling south on Hoover Street and made a left turn onto London Street, where it struck the victim, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said the victim, a man in his 30s, suffered serious injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
Authorities said the driver failed to stop, render aid or remain at the scene as required by law and instead fled east on London Street.
The crash remains under investigation.
LAPD detectives are asking anyone with information about the collision or the driver to contact the department.
