Knott’s Soak City to Open Two New Attractions in 2027

Knott’s Soak City Waterpark in Buena Park will add two new attractions in 2027.  

Two new water slides, called Coral Craze and Kelp Kraze, manufactured by ProSlide will replace the current Shore Break complex of four “extreme” slides on the northeast side of the waterpark.  

The slides are “two of the industry’s most innovative slide experiences,” Raffi Kaprelyan, park president of Knott’s Berry Farm, said in a statement.  

Coral Craze will be the first triple “flying saucer” attraction on the West Coast, with rafts fitting up to five people. The neighboring Kelp Kraze will be a five-person raft ride with tight turns and spiraling helix elements, and will be known as the longest “Family HIVE” attraction in the U.S. 

“Coral Craze and Kelp Kraze represent the next wave of innovation for Knott’s Soak City,” Kaprelyan said.  

Parent company Six Flags Entertainment Corp. is the 13th largest employer in Orange County, with an estimated 5,000 employees across Knott’s Berry Farm, Soak City and Knott’s Hotel.
