Fire crews responded at 9:15 a.m. to the 1800 block of North Winona Boulevard, where they found the animal stuck inside a pipe measuring about 8 to 10 inches wide, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The incident was upgraded to a technical rescue, and members of the department’s specialized animal rescue team were dispatched. About 26 firefighters responded, along with personnel from the department’s Urban Search and Rescue team.
