BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in an assault investigation.
Police say on Monday, July 20, the suspect allegedly assaulted an employee after an accomplice committed petty theft at the Fiesta Food Mart on Stine Road.
The suspect is described as being in his 40s with a muscular build and is believed to be a transient.
Police said he was wearing a neon green shirt and blue jeans.
