A San Anselmo home that was once composed of two Presbyterian churches has been listed for $3.895 million.
Built in 1906, the church was deconsecrated in the 1950s after the congregation outgrew the space. But the 22-foot ceilings proved to have great acoustics and the property became a popular recording studio in the 1960s known as The Church. It hosted such notable artists as Van Morrison, Boz Scaggs, Jefferson Starship, Huey Lewis and the News, Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead, Carlos Santana and others.
