The Village Church in Rancho Santa Fe collected a truckload of donated items for its Christmas in July event to help refugee families newly arrived from Afghanistan and South Africa. On July 26, dozens of donors dropped off clothing, shoes, toys, furniture and kitchen wares to help support the ongoing work of the Alliance for African Assistance and its Safari Seconds Thrift Store in San Diego, a news release stated.
