‘Operation Blitz’ targets unsafe boating, leads to hundreds of enforcement actions

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said it took part in what was called “Operation Blitz,” joining other agencies across California in an effort to enforce harbor laws on the waterways.

The Marine Enforcement Detail worked with the sheriff’s office to ensure water safety and responsible boating, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
