After a successful Los Angeles debut in 2025, Whiplash In Concert returns

If you love Whiplash, you will love this. WHIPLASH IN CONCERT returns to the iconic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills in 2027 for three unforgettable performances on Friday, January 29, and Saturday, January 30.

After a successful 2025 debut in L.A., Street Food Cinema and TIL Events are teaming up again with Hurwitz Concerts to bring the music and film back to life.

Hurwitz Concerts was founded in 2022 to produce live concerts of Justin Hurwitz’s film scores and has since produced over 150 performances of La La Land In Concert and Whiplash In Concert, with Babylon in Concert set to premiere in Paris in October 2026.

Audiences will live in the moment of Damien Chazelle’s critically acclaimed film as Hurwitz’s energetic score is performed live, capturing the raw passion that earned Whiplash three Oscars®, including Best Sound Mixing, Best Film Editing, and Best Supporting Actor for J.K. Simmons. 

The concert features a live 18-piece jazz big band ensemble and 24-year-old drumming phenom Greyson Nekrutman, conducted by the film’s Oscar®-winning composer, Justin Hurwitz.
