Neighbors say past arguments and reported threats make a possible arson investigation unsurprising after a Peoria house fire. A fast-moving house fire destroyed a home on Planada Lane near Pinnacle Peak Road and 83rd Avenue. Investigators are examining whether the blaze was intentionally set, though authorities have not said why they consider it suspicious or named any suspects. Neighbor Jeff Hicks says he was not surprised to learn police were investigating possible arson, citing prior arguments and reported threats involving people connected to the property. His Ring camera video appears to show smoke turning black and flames erupting within seconds.
