Elysian Park—Firefighters today stopped the progress of a small brush fire in Elysian Park.

Firefighters were dispatched at 10:35 a.m. Saturday to the 1600 block of North Boylston Street, near Academy Road, where the fire was burning uphill, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

Fire personnel, which included air units, subsequently stopped the fire’s progress at three-quarters of an acre, and were in mop-up phase.

No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged, the department added.
