On Saturday at 10:37 p.m. a heat advisory was issued by the NWS Eureka CA valid from Monday 11 a.m. until Tuesday 11 p.m. The advisory is for Northwestern Interior Mendocino, Northeastern Interior Mendocino, Southeastern Interior Mendocino, Western Lake, Southwestern Lake and Eastern Lake as well as Lake County.
The NWS informs, “Temperatures to 105 will produce moderate to major heat risk.”
“Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses,” comments the NWS.
This advisory is in effect until Tuesday at 11 p.m.

For a safer outdoor work environment, follow the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)’s guidance by scheduling regular rest breaks in shaded or air-conditioned places. If anyone shows signs of heat illness, promptly move them to a cool, shaded area. In an emergency, call 911.
